What is Botox?
Botox is a prescription-only treatment that uses a purified protein to temporarily relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. When these muscles are relaxed, the overlying skin appears smoother and more refreshed.
It’s most commonly used on the upper face but can also be used preventatively to help slow the formation of deeper lines.
